As you will know if you read the Patricia Bech Travel Notes, I love France and it is one of the places that I want to visit again as soon as we can get back travelling.
Coronavirus may have been really disrupting for the travel industry and hampered our dreams of exploring the world, but it has also given me lots of time to reflect on my favourite places to visit.
Although I love the countryside, I also like to spend time in the city and France is a great destination for shopping, wine, food and culture. The weather is also nice and warm during the spring and summer months.
France has some wonderful towns and cities and here are three of my favourite for my Patricia Bech Travel Notes:
Paris is gorgeous, especially at this time of year! I would love to be browsing the streets of this famous French city and enjoying views of the Eiffel Tower. There is so much on offer in Paris. Amazing shopping, plenty of cute cafes and inspiring art. It is also a really attractive city.
If you like wine then Bordeaux should definitely be on your radar. It is a lovely place to go especially during the harvest. There are lots of impressive chateaus that you can visit during a trip and I recommend getting a hire car so that you can drive to some of the famous ones on the Left Bank.
Marseille is a bustling city and one of the most famous ports in Europe. It has some excellent sea views and it is also a very interesting place to visit. I love admiring
