Sunspots in Spain

Spain seems to be one of the tourist hotspots that will open its doors to visitors from the UK first following the Coronavirus situation. Here at the Patricia Bech Travel Notes, I am excited at the prospect of being able to get going again.

The COVID-19 outbreak has completely prevented holiday makers from jetting off for their Easter or early summer breaks. While some people will probably still be very nervous about travelling, at least there is the option to visit a holiday destination if you chose to.

I love Spain and one of my favourite articles that I have written was for A Luxury Travel Blog. It was all about places to visit in Andalucía. There are so many lovely sunspots in this part of the world. With all the talk in various media about Spain starting to get up and running for British tourists, I thought I would highlight some of the best places to visit for the Patricia Bech Travel Notes. Some of these ideas are on the mainland and also the beautiful islands that are close to Spain.

For me, I like either the mainland or the islands, and obviously with the islands you will find many amazing beaches. They are possibly better than those on the mainland but any sun, sea and sand will be a welcome sight for many people this year, I am sure!

So, without further ado, here are some ideas for followers of the Patricia Bech Travel Notes…

Ibiza

Famous for its nightclub scene, this island normally attracts partygoers throughout the summer. However, there are also some gorgeous beaches on the island and some quiet areas to enjoy as well. In fact, it is known as one of the prettiest places to visit in Europe, so don’t just think it is a place for partying!

Estepona

This is a cute little harbour village that is not too far from the very popular Marbella. It has some great places to eat and drink and is a little less busy that its famous neighbour. However you can nip down towards the glamour city of Marbella if you want to mix up your break.

Tenerife

The Canary Islands are a favourite for families but they are also a nice place to go for a couples. I like Tenerife as it has lots of great activities to enjoy. You can go out on a boat or just enjoy browsing beachside shops.

Fashion Tip

Also, if you are planning to book a getaway and travel to the sun, I am loving the latest collections from Accessorize. You don’t even need to buy a while new outfit and sometimes accessorising is much easier than picking something new to wear. Also, you can change your look by adding a fun sun hat or necklaces for example. Take a look at their collection by clicking here.
