England has a long history as a nautical superpower, with many strong navies and successful exploratory voyages coming from the small island nation. The Merseyside Maritime Museum at the Albert Dock highlights the many successes of England’s seafaring ways and focuses on Liverpool’s contributions as a major port destination. Whether you are a history buff, a boating enthusiast, or both, this museum will give you plenty of entertainment and education.
